Favorite Disney Character:
“Le Feu” from Beauty and the Beast (because “I Pity Le Feu!”)

Most Memorable Travel Moment:
“I visited the Arsenal Museum in Vienna, Austria back in 2003.  Seeing European history from an Austro-Hungarian perspective was a real eye-opener.  I’ll never forget the display of artifacts from the assassination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand in Sarajevo, the event that triggered the start of World War I.  One can view the uniform worn by the Archduke that day, neatly laid out under glass.  I have never felt so close to an historical event as I did that day.  The other time I felt that close to history was visiting the Yorktown, VA battlefield while I was training at the Armed Forces School of Music.  Since I’d recently completed Army Basic Training, I felt a real connection to the men who occupied those trenches all those years ago.”
