Sarah Rio
sarah@bobrogerstravel.com Sarah started with the Bob Rogers Travel team in 2006, with several years’ experience in Administration and the Secretarial Arts. Her musical education started early with Piano and Voice lessons at 3 years old. By kindergarten, she had memorized the lyrics and melody to over 100 songs. Sarah continued her love of all things musical thru Middle and High School in band, choir, jazz band, show choir, and participation in the school musicals “Music Man” (Amaryllis), “Brigadoon” (Fishmonger), “Li’l Abner” (Mammy Yokum) and “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” (Milly). She was also involved in the plays “Harvey” (Veta Simmons) and “Arsenic and Old Lace” (dead body #2). During College, Sarah continued in band and choir, with a second stint in “Harvey” (Nurse Kelly) and a part in “The Foreigner” (Catherine). Sarah has since been involved in Community Theater in Oak Lawn where she lives with her Husband Tony and Welsh Corgi, Molly. The two shows she was seen in there were “Bye, Bye Birdie” and “The Producers”. “Supporting BRT is a dream job- one where I get to help students participate in travel experiences I was never able to have and where I get to use my knowledge to lift up the whole team”. |
